Mondiaal FNV is seeking a Country Representative for Colombia on consultancy basis. This part-time position (10-12 days/month) is initially available until the end of April 2026, with potential for renewal. The consultant will work from home or their own office facilities, primarily individually, but with occasional team collaboration.
Mondiaal FNV supports workers worldwide in their fight for decent work. Since 1975, we have been empowering workers and their unions to combat exploitation and improve working conditions. We partner with unions, provide financial support and expertise, and lobby for better working conditions, stronger unions, and more female leadership. Our mission is to ensure that everyone has the right to fair working conditions, a living wage, social protection, and collective bargaining. In Colombia Mondiaal FNV mainly works on strengthening trade unions in the oil palm industry and supporting trade unions and workers and their families in achieving a just energy transition.
The Country Representative will support Mondiaal FNV programmes and partner organisations in Colombia, enhancing the quality of programme implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. The role involves providing strategic recommendations on country programming, labour union needs, and emerging issues, and representing Mondiaal FNV to local stakeholders to increase visibility and foster collaboration.
